Questions: art project; little help?

Thank author of this post/commentI have bought dried preserved leaves and a tree branch at my local arts and crafts store. I also bought dried flowers. I intend to glue the leaves and flowers to the branches, but will they break off? What can I do so they wont? Also, any other tips would be nice :)

I think dried flowers, leaves and branches are fragile so better work carefully when gluing your art project together. After it is done, be sure to keep it out of reach of small children, otherwise you should be ready to say goodbye to your project anytime.

You can still glue them on a board you want but I think it will be better if you try to dry it well and place on a frame so that it won't be destroyed when touched by other or when you display it on the wall.

This kind of art is also nice but you have to be careful in gluing it. Good luck to you. Great day.

Wow! That would be a nice idea Ettel. But just like what Chin chin said, you better be careful in gluing those stuff because they can break easily. Also, you could try to draw a nice background first before you put those dried stuff. Also, you could try covering it with a plastic cover very neatly. I am very sure that it will look great and fantastic. Trust me. Good luck to you!

Use white craft glue, or a glue gun to glue the items on, then spray some hair spray to preserve the whole picture. And if you really want the picture to be safe from breakage, then put it in a glass frame, though a glass frame does ruin the rustic handmade look of the craft. But I have seen many of these types of pictures last a really long time outside of a frame.

I am quite interested in finding out more about the field of arts and crafts. I have seen some good arts and crafts ideas before and that includes securing and preserving flowers and leaves. It is fun actually. To know that you can keep such wonderful creation and prevents it from decomposing.

Your tips were all great here. Would love to really know much of how to make such stuffs.
