Yahoo! Answers: I have a 2000 honda foreman es 450. It will not shift.?

I have checked all connections and wiring. I have cheked the angle sensor, the shift motor, all swithes and relays going to and from the ECU. The honda shop had it for almost a month. They wanted to just hit and miss by replacing parts. I finnally got fed up after they told me the ECU was bad. It only has 12000 miles on it and does not see very hard use. So I took it back after they put on an ECU and it still would not shift. I was ASE certified for 5 years in engine repair and brakes with a 4.0 grade average in automotive from Lamar university.I am hoping someone has some insight on this shift problem.If you have an answer for me I have plenty of experiance in engines, brakes, custom car fabrication. And am currently taking an associates of applied sciences in Automotive Collision Repair at Tarrant County College.
