Weird lump on my leg

I broke my leg and badly sprained my ankle last year in May 2008. Yesterday when I was running at our YMCA, I noticed a strange lump of muscle in that area.

It kind of turned a bluish color with exertion. Is this just damage from the torn muscle or should I be worried?

Thanks for your advice Elroy! I'll bet that Coca Cola is causing my ulcer too...I never thought of that. No seriously, I don't touch the stuff.
