i have a dr. appointment tomorrow and...?

Thank author of this post/commentmy dr prescribed me vyvanse (ADD medication) when i was away at college (in a different town) and now that i'm home i have to make an appointment with a dr here so i can get it refilled. since they are 2 different offices, will i need to bring any verification to my appointment tomorrow? how does that work?
