Something is wrong with my hamster!? - Pets
Something is wrong with my hamster!? She is lying in her cage with her mouth opening and closing about 2x per second and making a clicking noise. I was trying to pet her head but she isnt responding at all. Is this a seizure? Her eyes are bulged out also...what is this?????
oh! that is really alarming. I hope that you can visit a veterinarian to examine your pet. I wish that your pet will be ok soon. Maybe it has just eaten something bad. Just ask an expert about it.
I find hamsters so cute. But I think they are kind of sensitive pets so you really have to be careful in taking care of them. The most important things that we need to bear in mind for petting animals are their cages, food, health, vaccine (if needed), and the like. I have two puppies and I enjoy a lot raising them at home. They are also cute and trainable.
Vince is right. You should, I mean both of you should visit the veterinarian for that reason. It is quite alarming that your pet is acting strange, is there something that you allegedly take by you for him. I hope that problem may solve in the simplified and best as possible in the future. I am planning to know much about that area. I hope you can solve it .
It is important that we do keep ourselves well knowledgeable about some of the best ways to take care of our pets. I have hamsters before and I can say that it takes me lots of time to know how to properly handle them in proper way. And good thing that there are lots of great pet care tips online, for free. Thanks for sharing in here guys and have a great day to all.
This sounds to me like a case of bad dehydration. Have you checked the water level of your hamster's water dispenser? Is the weather unusually dry and hot right now? Or if you can completely rule out dehydration then perhaps it is some sort of flu that your hamster is experiencing. If it wasn't a hamster, then I might suggest choking, but I have never heard of any cases of hamsters choking.
