Yahoo! Answers: I FOUND A HURT BIRD HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Thank author of this post/commenti live in wisconsin and my dog was outside yiping (she is five pounds so i thought something was attacking her) but she was actually attacking a bird. It is a little bigger than my fist and it can't fly. i dont see any injuries on it but it has some of those puffy baby feathers so i think its a baby. I don't know what to do because it will die if i leave it alone in the wild. What can i do?????? could i possibly keep it as a pet??????? a few years ago the same thing happened and i let the bird go free to the wild and the next day i found it squished on my neighbors driveway.soo i'm not giving up on this one.
