Answers: Coaching at a school..... HELP!!!!!?

Thank author of this post/commentIm a coach for a sideline cheer team it is a volunteer thing since its not considered a sport. This year they will have a coaching position open for a competitive team. I want to apply however...i just found out they hired a new teacher, who might be interested with no cheerleading experience... They told me if she applies for it then she gets it automatically...is that legal??? shouldnt it be a fair interview.....
